Years in Business:   Wakota Federal Credit Union was established in 1931 as the Armour Saint Paul Employees Credit Union which was located in the Armour Food Plant. 

Business Leadership:   Wakota Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit, federally chartered cooperative financial institution owned by its members and overseen by an elected voluntary Board of Directors.  Mary Matheson, President and Chief Executive Officer, oversees the day-to-day operations.

Products/Services/Markets Served:   Wakota offers deposit and saving products, low rate loans including mortgages, investment and credit counseling services. Member-owners can complete transactions in over 5,000 shared credit union branches worldwide.  The open community financial cooperative serves Dakota County.  Wakota Federal Credit Union’s services are open to those who live, work, worship, volunteer or attend school in Dakota County or live in the same household as a current member or are related to a current member.
