    South St. Paul Farmers’ Market is back starting June 28th and running thru September 27 The market runs from 2:00 until 6:00 pm and will have a variety of fresh fruit and vegetables.

  2. First in the Nation Suffrage Celebration

    August 27, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM

    On August 26, 1920, the U.S. Congress ratified the 19th Amendment to the Constitution and granted woman the right to vote. On August 27, 1920, eighty-seven South St. Paul woman were the first to vote in the United States. Joining the men of the community, an $85,000 water bond was voted on and passed. Miss Margaret Newburgh of South St. Paul voted at 6 a.m. in her precinct and is given the title of first woman to vote under the 19th Amendment. Join the City of South St. Paul for the 2nd Annual First in the Nation Suffrage Celebration on Sunday, August 27, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the South St Paul City Hall. We will commemorate South St. Paul's important role in our Nation's Suffrage History. Included in this celebration is the Pass the Torch Award presented to Girl Scouts to encourage girls to document and share their stories.

  3. Economic Development Authority

    August 28, 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM @ City Hall Training Room

    The Economic Development Authority will meet on the second and fourth Monday of each month (Tuesday, if Monday falls on a Holiday). This meeting is open to the public.

  4. City Council Worksession

    August 28, 7:15 PM @ South St. Paul City Hall - Training Room Access to Training Room is located on the West side (Alley side) of City Hall. Parking lot is located at the corner of 4th Ave. S. and 2nd St. N.

    ** The Worksession start time may be delayed due to the Economic Development Authority Meeting** The City Council meets in a Worksession setting on the second and fourth Monday of each month (Tuesday, if Monday falls on a Holiday). No official action is taken at a Worksession meeting. This meeting is open to the public.
