  3. Mini Chef school at the Farmers Market

    Back by popular demand. Mini chef school at the SSP Farmers’ Market. Join Friendship Farm’s Cooking School and the South St. Paul Mayor’s Youth Task Force for an afternoon of fun at the South St. Paul Farmers’ Market on July 26th for Mini Chef School. SSP Mini Chef School is an opportunity for youth that attend the South St. Paul Farmers’ Market to learn about vegetables and fun ways to use veggies from the market for delicious recipes. • Cooking classes will take place at about 2:45, 3:15 & 3:45 pm. • The SSP Mini Chef School is limited to the first 32 youth and/or families that register at the SSP Farmers’ Market on July 19 or by contacting Deb Griffith. Walk-ons will be accepted if space is available. This program is free to participate. Thanks to Friendchip Farms Cooking School, the SSP Famers’ Market, Wakota Federal Credit Union, and the South St. Paul Mayor’s Youth Task Force for making the program possible

  5. Swimming Under The Stars

    July 26, 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM

    Swimming Under the Stars is back! New hours this year! We are starting at 7:30 pm and going to 9:30 pm at Northview Pool. Swimming Under the Stars will start June 28th and run every Wednesday during the summer. There will be music, games, prizes and even some swimming. It is only $2.00 for an evening of fun (please note pool passes are not valid during these private parties). All donations will go to the SSP Youth Task Force Global Project to attend We Day. Parents get in for free.
