Fill the Backpack Campaign
Tuesday, August 13, 2019
On Tuesday, August 6, 2019, the South St. Paul Mayor's Youth Task Force will kick off the 19th Annual “Fill the Backpack" Campaign for students in need at the local schools in South St. Paul. The SSP Mayor’s Youth Task Force has received a generous donation from the Mizpah Lodge #191 to purchase backpacks. The Task Force is asking neighborhoods, organizations, groups, or individuals to purchase school supplies to fill the backpacks. Bring your donations to the South St. Paul City Hall and place in the barrel located in the lobby. Once the backpacks are filled, they will be given to the schools to distribute to the students in need in the SSP School District so ALL students can start the school year off with a filled backpack! The Fill the Backpack" Campaign will run the month of August. For more information or a backpack to fill, contact Deb Griffith, City of South St. Paul’s Community Affairs Liaison Checks can be written to: SSP Mayor's Youth Task Force
