UPDATE: JANUARY 20, 2016
The City Council will be considering the 2nd reading of the proposed rental housing ordinance on February 1st. PLEASE NOTE: Staff is recommending several revisions to the ordinance as follows:
- Remove the 10% rental density
- Remove the reference for the City's ability to conduct background investigations on renewal applications.
- Remove the criteria for "good moral character" from the initial background investigation on new applicants.
