2018 Community-wide Food Drive

Join the South St. Paul Mayor’s Youth Task Force  for the 2018 Community-wide Food Drive.

In 2017  Neighbors, Inc. distributed 943,737 pounds of food to 13,591 families and seniors in northern Dakota County.  More than 39 percent of their clients are children under the age of 18.  One in six kids do not always have food in their homes.  The amount of food being served from Neighbors, Inc.'s food and bakery shelves has more than TRIPLED since 2010.

The goal is South St. Paul’s zip code of 55,075 pounds of non-perishable food items. Drop off the food items between 10:00 am to noon  on March 17th at Southview Center or place it on your front steps by 9:30 am & we’ll be by to pick it up.   Let’s do this South St. Paul.

If you cannot make the collection date of March 17th, just drop your donation at one of the many drop off spots including City Hall, South St. Paul Public Library and Central Square Community Center between March 5th  & 31st.
