[ARCHIVED] Library Closed to the Public

coronavirus-blue-mobile

Out of precaution due to COVID-19 (coronavirus) and in the best interests of our patrons and employees, the South St. Paul Public Library closed to the public effective 6pm, Friday, March 13, 2020, and will remain closed to the public until further notice.

However, we are offering specific services by appointment only as part of a phased re-opening. We are accepting appointments for onsite holds pickup, public computer use for up to one hour a day, and for our copier.  Please call the library at 651-554-3240 for any of these services. Staff will be answering phones Monday through Friday, 10am to 6pm.

All items checked out at this time have the usual three-week checkout period with two automatic renewals if materials are not requested by another patron. Returned material is quarantined for four days before being checked in, but no overdue fines will be assessed.

All programs, events, and meeting room reservations are cancelled indefinitely. If you haven’t tried our digital resources, now’s a great opportunity to explore Cloud Library, Hoopla, or RBdigital!

For current information on COVID-19, visit:  Minnesota Department of Health & Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
