Youth Summer Reading Program
Bookawocky: Build a Better World...In Space? kicked off Wednesday, June 7th. Stop by the library to register for one of our reading programs for ages 0-18. Participants will log their reading and other activities this summer to earn prizes. The library is also hosting a variety of free events for youth of all ages. Register for classes on the calendar of events or by calling the library.

Research shows that youth who participate in summer reading programs score higher on reading achievement tests at the beginning of the school year than youth who have not. Library staff are committed to doing our part to offer free fun and engaging educational opportunities to the community over the summer to help SSP youth return to school ready to learn.
