Our Park System
The South St. Paul park system has 15 public park areas covering more than 240 acres. The different types of parks include Community Parks, Neighborhood Parks, and Special Use Park Areas. Community Parks
Community Parks are large destination facilities focused on a blend of natural amenities and organized active recreation providing an inclusive experience in the city. There are five community parks:

Neighborhood Parks
Neighborhood Parks provide for park needs within a neighborhood, based on an average half mile or less walking radius. There are six neighborhood parks:

Special Use Park Areas
Special Use Park Areas are citywide parks and facilities with a specific focus. There are seven special use park areas:

Memorial Bench, Tree and Paver Brick Program
The Memorial Bench, Tree and Paver Brick program allows individuals to purchase and dedicate a bench, tree or paver brick in honor of a loved one(s).  In addition to the personal dedication made, the gift is also a valuable contribution to the park system for all to enjoy.  For more information click here, or select Memorial Program in Quick Links on the right hand side of this page.
