Utility Rate Study

The City contracted with Ehler's and Associates, a public finance advisory firm, for a Utility Rate Study. The study provided detailed costs analysis of the City's utilities and outlined financial planning strategies for meeting future operational and capital expenses.

Contact Information

  • For account balances and all other questions regarding water and sewer bills, please call 651-554-3209, during regular business hours, Monday through Friday.
  • For problems related to sewer backups, water quality, breaks, or leaks, please call the Utility Service Center at 651-554-3225.
  • After hour emergencies call 651-322-8657.

Moving Information

Notify the City at least three working days in advance of your move out/in date to schedule a meter reading for the final bill. Have the following information available when requesting a final read:

  • Final read date
  • Forwarding address
  • New owners name
  • Phone number
  • To request a final reading call 651-554-3209.

Bill Payment

The City accepts checks, cash, money orders and credit cards. You may bring your payment to the first floor at City Hall Monday through Friday during regular business hours. There is also a 24 hour drop box located at the rear entrance to City Hall where you can drop check or money order payments. Please do not put cash in the drop box. You can also sign up online for Autopay (PDF).

If you choose to pay by mail, tear off the top portion of your bill and mail it with your payment to:

The City will not take credit card numbers over the phone; all credit card payments must be made in person or online..
