2023 South St. Paul School District #6 - Special Election
The South St. Paul Public Schools is holding a special School Board Election on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, to fill the vacancy resulting from the unexpected passing of Bernie Beermann. The candidate elected on November 7th will fill the remainder of Mr. Beermann’s term that expires January 2027.
The polling place for ALL Voters for the School District Special Election on November 7, 2023, will be at the Lawshe Museum, 130 Third Avenue North, in South St. Paul. The poll will be open from 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM.
This is only a change the Special Election November 7, 2023. Your polling location for the elections to be held in 2024 will be the same as in the past:
- Precinct 1 – St. John Vianney
- Precinct 2 – 1st Presbyterian Church
- Precinct 3 – Luther Memorial Church
- Precinct 4 – Lawshe Museum
- Precinct 5 – Kaposia Education Center

City elections are conducted by the City Clerk’s Office and are held even numbered years in conjunction with county, state, and federal elections on the first Tuesday in November.

February 27, 2024 - Precinct Caucus dates as set by Minnesota Statutes 202A.14, unless the chairs of the two largest major political parties jointly notify the Office of the Minnesota Secretary of State of a different date by March 1 of the preceding year.
March 5th, 2024 - Presidential Nomination Primary
August 13, 2024 - Primary Election
November 5, 2024 - General Election
