The City Council is committed to providing safe neighborhoods for all of its residents and will ensure that the public health, safety and welfare is protected through the laws and ordinances that have been put in place.
With the recent shooting
incident that injured South St. Paul Police Officers and threatened the safety
and well-being of the general public, the Mayor and City Council want to
reassure the community that public safety is our highest priority and a
thorough review of the incident is underway.
There are a number of misconceptions that we want to clear up regarding
this matter and “group homes” in general.
