The City is looking at better avenues of getting information to residents. The quarterly City News is on avenue of getting information out, but we are looking at ways to improve this newsletter and to get information out on a more frequent basis. The City is considering creating the newsletter in a digital format and pushing out information on a bi-monthly basis rather than a quarterly basis.
What does this mean to you? The City News would no longer be delivered to your mailbox, rather it would be posted digitally on the City's website, mobile app, and Facebook page. Residents can sign-up for a text or email alert to inform them of a new edition of the City News. In addition, a limited number of copies will be printed and made available for pick-up at various locations in the City (i.e., City Hall, Library, CSCC, and Airport).
We would like your input on whether to move forward with the new digital format. Please take our poll and inform us on whether you want the City News to go digital or remain in paper form and mailed to households on a quarterly basis. If you prefer to email your response, please send "Yes, go digital" OR "No, keep it the same" to Shelly Anderson at sanderson@sspmn.org.
