Dakota County Community Development Agency
The purpose of this Notice is to announce a 30-day public comment period that is currently open on proposed amendments to the Dakota County HOME Investment Partnership (HOME) Program Budget for Program Years 2018 and available, if any, program income.
Proposed amendment:
The Dakota County CDA is proposing to allocate approximately $47,000 of available HOME funds to Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity, Inc. for the purpose of reconstructing three single family homes located at 415 5th Street West, Hastings; 617 3rd Street, Farmington; and 745 5th Avenue South, South St. Paul. When the single family homes are completed and ready for occupancy, Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity will sell the homes to buyers meeting the eligibility criteria.

This information is also available on the Dakota County and CDA web sites at co.dakota.mn.us and www.dakotacda.org. The Dakota County CDA will accept comments now through September 18, 2019. Upon request, this amendment will be available in an alternative format by contacting the Dakota County CDA. Approval of the amendment, subject to consideration of public comments, will be on the agenda of the Dakota County Board of Commissioners meeting to be held at the Dakota County Government Center, Administration Center, Boardroom (third floor), 1590 Highway 55, Hastings, MN 55033 on September 24, 2019 at 9:00 a.m.
