Join the conversation about the Future of the SSP Library! The City will be hosting a Town Hall Meeting on Wednesday, December 18th from 7:00-8:00 PM in the City Hall Council Chambers, 125 3rd Ave N.
Help us write the next chapter of our community by participating in discussions and surveys about the future decisions regarding the City's library. The public town hall meeting aims to educate residents and discuss your vision for our library. This will be followed with a survey to help the SSP City Council and Library Board in their decision-making process. The survey will be mailed out to all SSP households in early January and will also be available on the City's website. The decision on whether to remain a city library or to approach Dakota County about becoming part of the Dakota County system will be made in late February.
The Town Hall Meeting on Dec. 18th will be moderated by: Charlie Thompson, President/CEO of Neighbors, Inc.
Presenters include: Kathy Halgren - SSP Library Director, Joel Hanson - SSP City Administrator, and Margaret Stone - DCL Library Director
