Due to concerns about COVID-19, the South St. Paul Public Library will be CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC effective 6pm, Friday, March 13, 2020 and will remain closed to the public through March 31, 2020.
We’ll still be available to answer questions, check your account, or make book recommendations by phone during regular business hours. Due to Dakota County Library System closing March 18, 2020, all reserved items (holds) will be suspended indefinitely while possible pickup options are considered. Current checkouts of materials now have a due date of May 31, 2020. At this time we are quarantining any returned items for three days and then checking them in. No fines for materials will accrue during this time.
All programs, events, and meeting room reservations are cancelled through May 31, 2020. If you haven’t tried our digital resources, now’s a great opportunity to explore Cloud Library, Hoopla, or RBdigital!
