coronavirus-blue-mobile

Out of precaution due to COVID-19 (coronavirus) and in the best interests of our patrons and employees, the South St. Paul Public Library will be CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC effective 6pm, Friday, March 13, 2020 and will remain closed to the public until further notice.

Holds pick-up, computer and copier appointments for up to one hour are available by calling 651-554-3240.

Staff will be available to answer questions, check your account, or make book recommendations by phone Monday through Friday, 10 am to 6 pm. As of April 6, reserved items for South St. Paul patrons will be sent to the Wentworth branch of Dakota County Library System for curbside pickup. Once you are notified that your holds are available for pickup, please call Wentworth library at 651-554-6800 to schedule a pickup time.

Current checkouts of materials now have a due date of July 1, 2020. All items checked out from June 10 forward will have the usual three-week checkout period. At this time, we are quarantining any returned items for three days and then checking them in. No fines for materials will accrue during this time.

All programs, events, and meeting room reservations are cancelled indefinitely. If you haven’t tried our digital resources, now’s a great opportunity to explore Cloud Library, Hoopla, or RBdigital!
