In celebration of the SSP Public Library’s 100th Birthday, the SSP Mayor’s Youth Task Force, the SSP Public Library & Kaposia Days are hosting the annual Kaposia Day’s Children’s Parade with the theme of My Favorite Storybook Character. The SSP Children’s Parade will take place on Saturday, June 25th with registration beginning at 9:30 am at 5th & Southview and the parade starting at 10:00 am (5th & Southview). It will travel to the Touch A Truck Event hosted by the South St. Paul City Council at 6th and Marie. A limited number of goodie bags for all registered participants.

Join the SSP Mayor and City Council for a Touch a Truck Event. There will be fire trucks, police cars, dump trucks and so many more BIG vehicles. Immediately following the Kaposia Days Children’s Parade, check out a variety of BIG trucks and vehicles. We’ll be joined by the South St. Paul Police Department, South Metro Fire, SSP Public Works and so many more cool vehicles. View the vehicles up close, pose for photos and learn all about the vehicles. Kids of all ages can check out the vehicles. Then, connect with the Mayor or City Council for ice cream treats coupon and great conversation.

What goes better than Kaposia Days and Bingo, how about Kaposia Days and DISCO BINGO! There’ll be music, a “Back to the 70’s” costume contest, fun, trivia, prizes and more! DISCO BINGO is family friendly and fun! With DISCO BINGO, you create your own card and play with one card all evening. We’ll be adding some fun games, music and a little dancing thanks to the ever talented Kelly Casey! Thanks to Angelo’s Italian Restaurant for co-sponsoring Disco BINGO and supplying the game prizes! DISCO BINGO is not your Grandma’s Bingo, but fun for the entire family!
